| Raffle We have a Te Karaka Escape to raffle.

Event Programme Highlights |
Friday Guests can assemble at the Waikaretu Hall from 12:30 pm, before crossing over to the school at 1 pm for the poowhiri. Following the poowhiri there will be speeches by current Waikaretu School representatives, the opening of a time capsule and burying of a new time capsule. Until 4 pm there will be time to socialise, current students will lead tours of the school and run olden day games Hangi will be delivered to the school from Weraroa Marae for those that wish to stay for dinner
Saturday The event starts at 11 am, with speeches, a cake auction and tree planting There will be a food truck operating from 12 pm Following the official items there will be photos of former students by decade and former staff. You can order and pay for the photos at the event. There will be time after the official photos for family and whaanau group photos if you would like to have them taken. The event will wind down at 3 pm
