Welcome to Waikaretu - Preschoolers

When children start at Waikaretu School they quickly become part of our school family. The Principal is available to meet with new parents as needed to ensure they and their children have settled into our school community successfully.  It is essential that all children are safe, happy, and ready each day to engage in their place of learning. Prior to the first day of school, we offer a flexible approach to transition with a minimum of three preschool visits to enable a smooth transition to school. This is arranged with the classroom teacher.
